You’ve probably found this page ‘cos you’re an SEO person hawking about checking up on your competitors.
Or, maybe you’re that more rare commodity, the person who is a genuine believer in SEO and needs it done on your website. A genuine customer, not a tyre-kicker / time-waster.
If you’re in this last category, read on. If you’re in the other categories, do something else with your time. And that includes the SEO professional.
For SEO is something I stumbled into because I happened to learn a lot about websites (& their relationship with the almighty overlord Google) over 11 years of publishing them – and when it comes to SEO, I’m probably ultimately just passing through – having achieved phenomenal results for my SEO clients, the business development offers are surrounding me – and I estimate within 12 months I won’t be doing SEO anymore.
……. clients are unreliable, SEO people backstab each other at the first chance, etc … this is not time to whinge about things – this is to tell you what our little company can do, with eyes closed and hands tied behind our backs:
- keyword density and prominence among your top 10 competition.
- keyword density analysis for each HTML element of your webpage.
- keyword prominence in page elements
- most popular keywords and key phrases used by your site and top 10 competing sites
- HTML elements that use keywords or keyphrases
- highlighting of analysed elements in your page’s source code
- analysis of keyword density for keywords and for keyphrases ….. etc ….
…And this is the sort of thing we probably also need to say to you:

And so on ….. the above statements come from SEO email spam, another thing which is rapidly putting me off working in this field. I’m into quality, not thievery, so to find myself on par with drivel designed to steal your credit card number doesn’t much appeal.
Doctors might collectively get criticised, but at least it’s by naturopaths – who have some modicum of training, sensibility and honour.
